Good Coffee Packed for Adventure and Ready to Go

Good Coffee Packed for Adventure and Ready to Go

At 5-Ball Racing Garage we are on the lookout for stuff that moves the adventure along. And anything that makes better coffee at motels that "keep the lights on" is always on our radar. Trader Joe’s pour over coffee is the ticket.
Trader Joe's is a grocery store. It is a culture. It is a DESTINATION. Trader Joe’s pour over coffee alows you to brew straight in the bag... It caught our taste buds! This reusable packaging design is great for when you want coffee on the go. The company behind the concept is Grower’s Cup who provide tea, coffee, and specialty kits (like Irish coffee) in the same innovative packaging.
We love this new way to enjoy the morning cup of joe and will be on the look out for more unique ways to kickstart your busy travel days. “Contains enough coffee and its own filter to make about two cups of coffee, depending on the preferred strength. The coffee is filtered, but with the rich taste of a French Press.”

They have this setup for both coffee and tea - as well as specialty kits and you can even find some on Amazon. While not necessarily something you need at home - Trader Joe’s pour over coffee is perfect for on the go, especially motel camping! Check out TJ. I was impressed by how well the filter worked, since I didn’t end up with any grounds in any of my brews. The Trader Joe’s pour over coffee itself was smooth, mild and nutty. It was very balanced with a hint of fruity acidity. It's better than Starbucks Via/any other instant coffee that comes to mind...since this is actual brewed coffee. And I don't mind Via, not because it's great, but because anything tastes better in the Great Outdoors. Nothing fancy, not all that much character to it that's absolutely distinctive. Just plain ol' coffee, better than gas station coffee and much better than Wendy's (worst coffee I've ever had!).
